Court Fees (Fees from 1 July 2006)
To file certain applications and for some hearings, fees must be paid to the court. The details of the current applicable fees are contained in the table below.
Payment of court fees can be made in cash, cheque or postal/money order made payable to "The Family Court of WA". EFTPOS facilities and payment by Bankcard, Mastercard and Visacard are also available at the Registry counter.
In some cases, fees do not have to be paid. For instance, if you hold certain social security cards you can apply for exemption or can show hardship you can apply for waiver (see downloads on this page).
Fee Increase - 1 July 2008
With effect from 1 July 2008, all filing and hearing fees will be increased as set out in the table below.
